Meet Dr. Karen Reynolds DHA, MBA, CPC
Dr. Karen Reynolds hails from Detroit, MI. She was a standout student at Detroit Cass Technical High School and her quest for excellence did not stop there. She felt a greater sense of purpose.
In the years that followed, she became a Wife, a Mother, and a Grandmother. She also went on to earn a DHA, Doctor of Health Administration, MBA - Executive MBA, BSM, Bachelors of Science in Management, CPC - Certified Professional Coder, MI Life and Health Insurance Producer, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Federally Facility Marketplace and HIPAA certified. Hard work is no stranger to her. Dr. Reynolds gives her grandfather, Benjamin Ferris Greene and her father John credit with this work ethic.
Her strong work ethic paled in comparison to her dedication to her community. She has appeared on a variety of talk shows, served on Executive Board of Director’s and was once a contributing Financial Literacy writer for the Blog “HollaIfYouHearMe.com”. In her own words:
“I want people to know that I am resilient in the journey of quality of life and informed decision-making. Particularly, underserved communities, people of color, LGBTQ, single parents, emancipated minors, those who experience plight for lack of or deliberate denied access to the care and tools needed to properly participate in their care and financial sustainability...even taking this on in policy-making and holding elected officials or those hoping to be elected accountable for this platform.”
Dr. Karen continues to advocate to this very day to be a force for the better. She often recalls her Mother’s Cora Strong’s favorite saying “Family is family” and for Dr. Karen those who have no family are her family.
